Unified Fire Authority will be conducting a New Hire Written Test for Firefighter and Paramedics on August 25, 2018.  Information can be found on our website at http://www.unifiedfire.org/employment/beafirefighter/default.asp . Online you will be provided with information regarding the testing process, locations, times and dates as well as general information about the position, including job duties, minimum requirements, and salary/benefit information.


The written exam will be held on August 25, 2018.  We will be holding an alternate test date with limited availability on August 29, 2018 at 7PM. If you would like to request the alternate date you must submit an email to scardenas@unifiedfire.org outlining the reason you are unable to make the main test on August 25, 2018.


Test registration will begin on August 1, 2018 and will end at 5:00 p.m. on August 17, 2018Only those candidates who submit a registration form will be allowed to take the written exam. Please do not attach any other materials, such as a resume or employment application, when registering for the written exam (with the exception of the Preference Eligibility Form and associated documentation. You will upload your Preference Eligibility Form when it asks for a resume).   If you need a Preference Eligiblity Form you can find it on our website http://www.unifiedfire.org/employment/beafirefighter/default.asp.

We will collect copies of certifications, resumes, applications, etc. at a later date from those individuals who advance past the Written Exam phase.  Our primary means of contacting you throughout the examination process will be email.  It is your responsibility to ensure that your email address is correct and any change to your email is updated with Sylvia Cardenas at scardenas@unifiedfire.org.


You will receive a confirmation email once your test registration has been submitted.
